The ‘Shangri La’ kingdom of Bhutan is located in the eastern end of the Himalaya sandwich between India and Tibet is popular for the spectacular mountain scenery and its colorful Buddhist culture. A single fantastic road jogs west to east along the country, cross through a sequence of sharp sided and greatly wooden edges. This holiday package can be one of the world’s great bike journey just because of the long climbs on the easy-angled as well as outstanding descends that seem to last for hours. The trip starts from Paro and goes on many high passes; we mount up total 15,500 meters and amazing 18,200 meters of descent, in direction to the eastern India at Sandrup Jonkhar. It is normally supposed that the most experienced traveler has even found Bhutan to be amazing and we also cannot deny. The country is famous as Druk Yul ‘The land of The Thunder Dragon’. The lucky visitor will see an unusual combination of harmony and accord between unbelievable natural beauties. Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu

An actual Adventure representative will meet you at the arrival gate of International Airport and take you to your hotel.  Today you will meet your trekking guide and be concise about your daily activities. At evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner organized by our company.

 

Day 2: Fly to Paro Bhutan

We take the fantastic flight to Bhutan’s only airport at Paro. We will have time for a short visit to the viewpoint beneath the popular Taktsang Monastery.

 

Day 3: Visit to Punakha Dzong

Today early morning we start our cycling on the new road towards Thimpu but revolving off above the Dochu La. A spectacular descent (1700m) to Punakha valley increases our excitement. Today we will also explore the glorious Punakha Dzong.

Day 4: Climb above the Black Mountains

Today we will experience one of the most adventurous biking over the black Mountains which guide us to Gantry, the winter abode of the Himalaya Black Neck Crane.

Day 5: observe Bhutanese Archery

Today we will direct across the Chela La and Tongsa enjoying the marvelous Dzong. Afternoon we will visit Dzong and some Bhutanese archery.

 

Day 6: Climb to Yutong La (3400m)

Today we will have another climb to the Yutong La (3400m) and descent to Bumthang. There is a further hike to Kiki La, further than which we shore down to Jakar.

 

Day7:  Cycle towards Ura La.

Today we will ride over another major ascent followed by a long leaping descent via meadow and farmed land to our camping site at Ura Village.

 

Day 8: Ascent to Thimsing

Today’s cycling is quite laborious than other because we will today ascent a long and regular track to the Thimsing La (3800m) which is our last long climbs. Then we can enjoy the excellent descent and a final hike to Mongar.

 

Day 9: unassuming mount to Kori La.  

Today we will have a diffident hike to the Kori La, then another outstanding descent to the Sheri River and a final tough climb up to our lodge in the town of Tashigang.

 

Day 10: Drive to Paro

Today we will back to Paro and then we will enjoy a magnificent flight to Kathmandu. You will take rest at your hotel today.

 

Day 11: Sightseeing Kathmandu

Today, after breakfast we will visit Kathmandu which holds the chronological and spiritual place, which are also measured as World Heritage sites. Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantapur) where you can see Kumari (the living godess) temple, Museum, Kaal vairab (the god of distruction), Taleju Vawani (the goddess temple once opened on the 9th day of the great festival Dashain), Pasupatinath ( the biggest holy temple of Hindus), Swayambunath (the famous monkey temple), Boudhanath (The large Stupas in the world). You will have your night stay in Kathmandu.

 

Day 12: Departure

You will be free until Departure after breakfast. Then you will be taken to Kathmandu Airport by our Actual Adventure representative. We will always hope to see you again with your family, relative, co-workers and friends.
