This Kailash and Mansarovar Yatra - Kailas tour is designed to all the pious pilgrims (yatris) who cross oceans and continents in order to have a glimpse of the abode of Lord Shiva. Holy Mount Kailash - Mansarover  in Tibet is one of the most popular ultimate Hindu pilgrimage sites in Himalayan region dedicated to Lord Shiva where every devotee wants to go. Mount Kailash, which is believed to have been formed 30 million years ago when Himalayas were in their early stage of formation, is one of the most revered places in the Himalayas. Mansarovar and Mt. Kailash are two of the holiest pilgrimage areas to devotees of Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Bonism and many other faiths. Each year thousands of devotees undertake the treacherous and rigorous journey through the mountains and plains of Nepal and China ( Tibet) to reach this sacred land.

Day 01: Nepal Border -Zhangmu( Tibet Border)

Upon arrival at the Tibet border , our guide from Lhasa will meet you and pick you up at the Chinese side of Friendship bridge. You'll drive to Zhangmu and check into your hotel. Today is free at your own to prepare for the lifetime overland trip.

Day 02:Zhangmu-Saga( BLD )

Overnight in Saga.

Day 03: Saga-Paryang( BLD )

Overnight in Payang.

Day 04: Paryang-Lake Manasarovar( BLD )

Overnight near Manasarovar.

Day 05:Lake Manasarovar-Darchen( BLD )

Day 06:Trek from Darchen-Dirapuk Monatery(abt 5hrs)( BLD )

Hightlights:Mt Kailash

Every year, thousands make a pilgrimage to Kailash, following a tradition going back thousands of years. Pilgrims of several religions believe that circumambulating Mount Kailash on foot is a holy ritual that will bring good fortune. The peregrination is made in a clockwise direction by Hindus and Buddhists. Followers of the Jain and Bonpo religions circumambulate the mountain in a counterclockwise direction. The path around Mount Kailash is 52 km (32 mi) long.

Drive from Saga to Zhangmu,Stay overnight at Zhangmu.

Day 11: Zhangmu Departure ( B )

Drive to Friendship-Bridge which links Kathmandu and Tibet. And fly to Nepal or your next destination.

Notes

  1. Tibet is a special area, When the government restrict the Guest into Tibet, then the travel agency has the right to discuss with guest and confirm the new itinerary. During the tour, if we meet Irresistible accident ((landslides, mudslides, snow, etc.) The Travel Agency has the right and responsibility to discuss with the group and change the itinerary.
  2. Hypertension, heart disease, asthma, cold patient is not suitable for the Trip. You need the body Check before you go into Tibet. We are irresponsible for your harm because of yourself body sickness.
  3. You need send us your China Visa and Passport Copy before 30 days when you start your trip. Diplomatist & Journalist Passport is not allowed into Tibet except get the extra Permit.
  4. Please respect for Tibetan culture and faith, Don’t talk about politics and religion sensitive issues during your trip.
  5. Temperature in Tibet during the day is warm, at night is cold, so you need keep warm clothes. And during you travel in Tibet, the Sunglasses and Hat and Sunscreen is very necessary.
