The Langtang Valley is a beautiful alpine region situated to the North of Kathmandu bordering Tibet. It is popular due to its snow-covered peaks, a mild climate and friendly and hospitable inhabitants. The area was recognized as Nepal's first Himalayan National Park in 1971. The land of Tamangs, Langtang is rich in its age-old religious practices, language and costume. A journey to the Langtang valley offers an opportunity to explore the Tamang villages, climb small peaks and visit glaciers.
The trek is easily accessible from Kathmandu. The majestic mountains of Langtang Lirung (7246m) to the north, Gang Chhenpo (6388m) to the south and Dorje Lhakpa (6990m) to the east dominate the beautiful Langtang valley. The trek passes through lush forest and the unique settlements of diverse ethnic groups.

Langtang Valley Trekking Itinerary ( Langtang Valley Treks)
Day 01:Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel
Day 02 : Sight-seeing of Kathmandu: Full day’s sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Return to the hotel.
Day 03 : Katmandu to Sybru Bensi (1462m)
Day 04 : Sybru Bensi to Bambo.(2145m)
Day 05 : Bambo to Lama Hotel (2804m)
Day 06 : Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3520m)
Day 07 : Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3825m)
Day 08 : Kyanjin Gompa to Tserko Ri and back to Kyanjin Gompa
Day 09 : Kyanjin Gompa to Ghora Tabela.(3048m)
Day 10 : Ghora Tabela to Sybru village (2581m)
Day 11 : Sybru village to Dhunche ( 1966m)
Day 12 : Dhunche to Katmandu.
