Local honey hunters show their exceptional skills by hanging themselves from cliffs as high as 300 meters using Bamboo ladders and hemp ropes, while harvesting the honeycombs. Nepal Honey Hunting Tour Package Itinerary (Himalayan Honey hunting Tour Package)
Day 01 : Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport and pick up you by our private vehicle and transfer to the Hotel
DAY 02 : Sight-seeing of Kathmandu: Leave for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Back to hotel and stay.
Day 03 :Drive to Khudi via Besisahar along the Prithvi highway. Join Gurung cultural programme arranged by local inhabitants. Overnight at Lodge
Day 04 :After breakfast trek to honey hunting site where you will be welcomed by local villagers. Overnight at Lodge
Day 05 :Next day morning visit the honey hunting site & enjoy the program. In the evening you will enjoy cultural dances performed by local Gurung people.
Day 06 :Drive back to Khudi & drive to Pokhara. Transfer to hotel. Lake site visit in evening
Day 07 :Sightseeing of Pokhara city which includes caves (Mahendra cave, Bat cave and Gupteshwor cave), Museums (Mountaineering museum, Gorkha soldier museum) sacred places (Vindabasini Temple, Jal Baharahi, world peace stupa). Overnight stay at hotel
Day 08 : Free day for shopping. Farewell Dinner with together our team who make sucess your trip.
