The Paro valley welcomes you with glowing paddies waves in the wind and small scattered houses when the plane land over the mountain slopes. The rural valley spread out as in a dream no matter how many times you visit Paro. You will definitely feel good on the crystal clear air, peaceful environment, and glorious snow capped mountains. After the immigration formalities you will meet Actual Adventure representative who will take you to your hotel through Paro valley. In the afternoon we will drive to the Paro Dzong to enjoy the world famous festival. We will spend our night at hotel.

Today we will have a very unique day with a trip to the fantastic Thaktsang (Tiger Nest) monastery. We take a short drive to the north of Paro valley to Ramthanka from where we begin to walk to the stunning Thaktsang Monastery (The tiger's nest) after breakfast. The path goes through the wonderful pine forest, many of trees decorated with Spanish moss and flapping prayer flag. We are allowed to walk up to the viewpoint from where we can see the hanging monastery on the edge. We will descend to Thaktsang cafeteria for lunch after visiting the monastery. In the afternoon, we will descend to the road and drive to visit the Drukgyel Dzong. Lastly if we have time then we will go to Kyichu Lhakhang which is one of the Bhutan’s oldest and blessed monasteries from the 8th century. Then we back to our hotel.

Today’s morning we will go to the capital of Bhutan, Thimpu which takes 2 hours. On the way we can see Tachogang monastery which is famous for excellent horses. Then we will reach at the junction of Paro and Thimpu River where we can see three kinds of curtains in a different style that is Nepalese, Bhutanese and Indian style. Our car will chase Thimpu River which goes through many villages. We will drive on the road from Simtokha that connects Punakha and Wangdue districts. If the weather is clear then we can also enjoy the striking view of the eastern Himalayas. We will walk down through the rhododendron forest and magnolia after lunch which takes us to the beautiful valley of Lobesa. Within 20 minutes drive we will reach at our hotel.

After breakfast we will visit the Punakha Dzong which is considered as the most striking structures designed Dzong in the country. We drive to Wangdue district, on the left of the district we can watch the classic farm village in Rinchengang. As we look the Dzong on the edge at Wangdue town, we will move to Nobding over Phelela pass 3350m. When we move down by the open grazing lands and the valley through the Chedebji Chorten, we will observe the rare yak herd and many other villages. Next two hours drive takes us to Trongsa providing striking scene of Trongsa Dzong on the way. We will stay at the hotel at night.

In the morning we will visit the enormous Trongsa Dzong which has an essential role in the determining the political history of the country. Then we will move toward Bhumthang valley which takes 3 hours drive over the Yotung la pass 3425m. On the way we will observe the Yathra (woolen cloth) weaving center at Zugney. It takes around 30 minutes drive to rach Jakar valley where we stay at Hotel. We will take our Lunch there and explore valley in the afternoon. We will spend our night at hotel.

Today sightseeing in Bhumthang which provides the visit of Jambay Lhakhang built in 7th century by the Tibetan King Songten Gampo. Kurjey Lhakhang has a myth that the body of Guru Rimpoche was left behind during mediating in a cave in this temple. Then we will make a short hike to Tamshing Monastery construct by Terton Pema Lingpa. After Lunch at the hotel we will see the Jakar Dzong fort of the white bird, which residences the administrative center and monastic center of the valley. At last we will visit the Membartsho (Fleming Lake) where Saint Pema Lingpa found out the religious treasure hidden by Guru Rimpoche. We will stay at the hotel at night.

Today we leave Bhumthang after breakfast. We will drive through Trongsa to Phojikha. We will have picnic lunch at Chendebji Chorten. We will retrace our move over the Phelela Pass and within 10 minutes drive we will move towards left and head to the Phojikha valley after an hour drive will reach at our lodge so that we can also experience of local living. We will be mesmerized by the Gantey Gompa which is located on the hill overlooking the wide open Phojikha valley. It is also the abode for the Black necked cranes wandering from Tibet. We will pass our night at lodge.

In the morning we will move back to Gantey Gompa to see the reconstruction of the monastery and people work. We will keep going to Wangdue for lunch at one of the local restaurants. We will drive to Thimpu afternoon where we will check in to the best hotel. We will have enough time to explore Thimpu. We will stay at the hotel at night.

After breakfast we will visit the many places of cultural interest in Thimpu. First of all we will visit Trashicho Dzong, the administrative center of Bhutan then we will go to the folk and heritage Museum which lets us experience the Bhutanese lifestyle. We cannot miss the arts and craft institute where we can see the beautiful art of paintings, woodcraft and sculpturing are taught to students. Late afternoon we will depart to Paro.
