Day 1: Kathmandu
Arrival
As your aircraft lands in Tribhuwan International Airport
our representative will receive you and help you to transfer into the hotel of
your choice. After a short rest we will start the tour by visiting
Swayambhunath temple which is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple
dates back to 2500years and is situated in the hilltop offering the astonishing
view of Kathmandu. From here we will drive to the historic Kathmandu Durbar
Square and get the glimpse of living Goddess Kumari. Return back to the hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 2: Drive to
Chitwan National Park
Early in the morning after having breakfast we will leave
Kathmandu behind us and drive for Chitwan National Park. On the way to Chitwan
you can do optional whitewater rafting trip. Alternating between stretches of
calm floating and thrilling whitewater rapids, the trip ends after 3-4hours in
the village of Mugling Bazaar. From here you can continue the drive to Chitwan
National Park. After checking into the hotel we will proceed for Tharu village
tour.
Day 3: Explore
Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park before used to be a royal hunting
reserve situated in the lowland of Terai zone in southern Nepal. It provides an
habitat to an extraordinary range of world’s rarest wild animals and native and
migratory birds. We will start the tour with bird watching, followed by jungle
safari on elephant back and canoe ride. In the evening we will enjoy the Tharu
cultural show.
Day 4: Drive to
Pokhara
After having breakfast we will drive through the beautiful
landscape, paddy farms, pristine rivers and small hamlets to the Lake City of
Pokhara. Pokhara is the scenically thrilling city with beautiful lakes and
offering the astonishing view of Annapurna massif. Upon arrival to Pokhara we
will check in to the hotel. After a short rest we will go for 1hour boating at
Fewa Lake which is located within the walking distance from the hotel.
Day 5: Drive to
Sarankot and back to Pokhara
We will wake up very early in the morning and drive to
Sarankot to see sunrise over the magnificently snowcapped Himalayas. Sarankot
situated in the altitude of 1500m from the sea level gives you an option of
paragliding over the lake city. Later we will drive back to hotel and have
breakfast. After breakfast we will set off for city tour and visit places like
David’s fall, Gupteshwor cave and Tibetan refugee camp. Stay overnight at hotel
in Pokhara.
Day 6: Fly to
Kathmandu and drive to Nagarkot
After having breakfast we will fly back to Kathmandu. Upon
arrival to Kathmandu we will continue a 2hour drive to Nagarkot which is
situated at the altitude of 2300m from the sea level. On a clear day we can see
Mt Everest from here. In the evening we will watch the view of setting sun.
Day 7: Drive back to
Kathmandu
We will wake up Early in the morning for the spectacular
view of rising sun. As the first rays of the sun strikes into the peaks a
hellish red color slowly lightens the whole Himalaya range from Kanchanjunga
and Everest in the east to Annapurna and Dhawalagiri in the west. After this we
will drive back to Kathmandu. As we check into the hotel we will proceed to
visit Boudhanath stupa which is dome shaped monument representing the mind of
Buddha and pilgrimage destination for Tantric Buddha. In the afternoon you can
do some family shopping.
Day 8: Farewell
You will be transferred to Tribhuwan International airport
for your onward journey
