Nar Phu valley trekking is an exotic valley is located in Annapurna region at mid western Nepal. Nar Phu has been opened to visitors only since 2003. Indeed Nar Phu is one of the best regions in the high land for viewing majestic mountains. Nar and Phu are the two most beautiful medieval villages where you can learn the real life styles of Bhote communities and also enjoy on the fabulous and typical landscape of the valley. The people and their culture have remained more similar to Tibetan than Nepalese since its remoteness and more proximity to Tibet. Nar Phu trekking begins from Koto via walking through a unique Marsyandi valley. The trekking trail follows Annapurna round trail for couple of days in the beginning. According to history Nar Phu valley was first explored by Tilman in 1950s but it was closed to trekkers until late 2002. So very few trekkers have explored these virtually untouched villages and climbed the many 7000m peaks surrounding it. In fact this new circular trek offers a wild and remote alternative trekking experience including newly-opened villages Nar and Phu.

Me and my Mom booked the Annapurna Circuit through Actual Adventure and everything was absolutely perfect. Kedar made everything possible that we have the trip of our life – he was always very responsive, organized, completely flexible in terms of individuality and super friendly. His offers are great value for money and he so much cares for his guests and treats everyone with respect. We appreciated all his recommendations, expert knowledge and the feeling to be in safe hands. Our guide, Lakpa, was the best and most caring guide you can image – the mountains are his home and we felt super safe with him. All the accommodations were chosen carefully and to our full satisfaction. Also, the two porters Pasang and Dendi were wonderful. All of us had so much fun and we spent many hours talking and laughing around the fireplace in the huts. I can highly recommend Actual Adventure and would book with them any time again! Thanks for everything Kedar, Sujan and the super team!
