Annapurna is a Sanskrit name which literally means "full of food" (feminine form), but is normally translated as Goddess of the Harvests. The entire range and surrounding area are protected within the 7,629 km2 Annapurna Conservation Area, the first and largest conservation area in Nepal. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu Airport our representatives from Actual Adventure will be waiting to receive you with your name card. They will welcome you and take you to the respective hotel in our private vehicle. Overnight at Kathmandu
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara
After having an early morning breakfast we will drive to Pokhara in a private tourist vehicle. You can see the beautiful views of Mountains, rivers, villages, and landscapes along the way. The drive to Pokhara is scenic and wonderful. It takes about 6 to7 hours to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. The duration differs upon the condition of the road. The beautiful Pokhara city welcomes you with its enormous natural beauty. You will check in to the hotel and roam around the city after getting fresh. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 03: Drive to Phedi trek to Dhampus
After having breakfast in Pokhara we will drive to Phedi. It takes about 45 minutes from Pokhara to reach Phedi. The original trek starts from Phedi. You will trek to Dhampus from Phedi following an uphill trial. The trek goes through dense forests and small settlements. It takes about 4-5 hours from Phedi to reach Dhampus. Overnight at Dhampus.
Day 04: Dampus to Landruk
We will have our breakfast at Dhampus and start the trek. Today we will trek to Landruk village via Potana and Deurali. The trek goes through beautiful rhododendron forests where we can see different species of birds. The trek follows the route towards Chandrakot Village where we can explore the warm hospitality of Gurung people. The trek further takes us to Tolka village where we will have lunch and walking further for few hours we will reach to Landruk Village. Landruk village is inhabited by Gurung people. We can experience the warm hospitality of Gurung people and wonderful views of mountains in this village. Overnight at Landruk.
Day 05: Landruk to Ghandruk
On the fifth day of Landruk, Ghandruk, Ghorepani luxury trek we will have our breakfast at Landruk and begin the trek. Our today’s destination is Ghandruk village which is a popular tourist destination and largest Gurung settlement of Annapurna Region. The trek goes downhill for the first few hours towards modi Khola River and then again ascends through hill terraced field towards Ghandruk. Overnight at Ghandruk.
Day 06: Ghandruk to Tadapani
Today on the sixth day of Landruk Ghandruk Ghorepani trek we will trek to Tadapani from Ghandruk after having breakfast at Ghandruk. The trek goes through some small settlements, forests and meadows. Overnight at Tadapani.
Day 07: Tadapani to Ghorepani
On the seventh day of Landruk Ghandruk Ghorepani Luxury Trek we will trek to Ghorepani from Tadapani. The trek starts with a warm and healthy breakfast at Tadapani. Then we will head towards Ghorepani. We will pass by several beautiful villages and tea houses on the way. On our trial today we can see mesmerizing views of beautiful mountains and rhododendron trees. After walking about 4 to 5 hours we will reach Ghorepani. Overnight at Ghorepani.
Day 08: Ghorepani to Poonhill back to Ulleri.
Today on the eighth day of Landruk Ghandruk Ghorepani Luxury Trek we will trek to Poonhill. We will hike early morning to Poonhill for sunrise view over the mountains. You can see the mountains changing different colors and turning sparkling white at the end. The Poonhill is one of the famous hill station of Nepal. Along with the beautiful sunrise view over the mountains this place also offers spectacular views of the surroundings. After spending few times there we will trek back to Ghorepani and down to Ulleri from here. Overnight at Ulleri.
Day 09: Ulleri to Nayapul drive to Pokhara.
We will have our final trek today. After having an early morning breakfast at Ulleri we will begin the trek. After trekking about 3 hours we will reach to Nayapul. We will have our lunch there and then drive back to Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara you can get fresh at hotel and roam around the city. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 10: Fly to Kathmandu.
We will have our breakfast at Pokhara and fly back to Kathmandu from the city of Lakes. The duration of the flight is about 30 minutes. After you land in Kathmandu airport our representatives will take you to the hotel. If you want you can go for shopping as well.
*Note: If you have small children in your family and want to do this Annapurna Family trek then we can also manage baby carrying porters and personal porters upon your request. The porters can carry your child up to your trekking destination if your baby cannot walk. We normally provide one porter for each two member in a group which carries 15kg of luggage of one person but we can also provide private porter for you which can carry up to 25 – 30 kg. The private porters and baby carrying porters are provided only upon the request of the customers with an additional cost.

Sometimes the trek ends before the scheduled itinerary due to several reasons regarding health or any other personal issues of the trekkers. If in case, early termination of the trek happens please note that we cannot offer refunds for unused days. It is because we have to pay the committed amount to our porters, guides and other team members.
Our clients must have their insurance and the insurance must cover the expenses of accidents, health, emergency evacuation, lost of gears, etc.
The departure scheduled would be changed on any unavoidable circumstance like weather hazards, trail slides, soil erosion, avalanches, sudden sickness, etc. The program can be customized as per the interest of the clients.
Visa in Nepal can be acquired on arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu and also at the border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki border of Nepal - India and Kodari on Nepal-China border. Visa can also acquire at the nearest Nepal Embassy. For visa renewal purpose you can contact at Department of Immigration, Kalikasthan at Kathmandu. A valid passport and one passport -size photo with a light background is required. Gratis (Free) Visa
For first visit in one visa year (January to December), gratis visa for 30 days is available only for nationals of South Asian countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. However, the visa can be extended from the department of immigration with respective fares.

As per official circular of the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, China, Chinese nationals applying for tourist visa to Nepal are being provided “gratis tourist visa” from Jan. 5, 2016, from following Nepali missions in the People’s Republic of China:
Nationals from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan will need to obtain visa from Nepal Embassies or Diplomatic Missions in their respective countries, as they do not get visa on arrival at the immigration entry points of Nepal.

Acclimatization is very important when you are trekking to an altitude of more than 3500m. Proper acclimatization helps to reduce the chances of Altitude Sickness. The itinerary is designed with proper acclimatization that will help your body to adopt the lower oxygen content in the air. Once you reached an altitude of 5000m the oxygen content in the air is less than 50% than that of the sea level. One of the main causes of altitude sickness is staying too long at high altitude without proper acclimatization. If in case you suffer from altitude sickness, the guides will notice the symptoms and then drop you to the lower altitude immediately. You have to inform to your guide if you notice any discomfort or symptoms of AMS. Major altitude sickness might need emergency helicopter rescue so make sure your travel insurance covers all the risk including helicopter rescue.
The numbers of Solo travelers are increasing rapidly in recent few years in Nepal. Nepal, being a beautiful and peace loving country is also one of the safest countries for solo travelers. However, the cost for solo traveler might be expensive since single supplement is very difficult to find and are expensive as well in the mountain regions.
For some trekking can be a short break from social medias and internet whereas for some internet and communication is a means to stay connected with near and dear ones during trekking. While travelling in the remotest areas you may not have facilities of telephone and internet. However, in recent days the Internet and Communication facilities during your trek to Nepal is improving rapidly. The region now has 3G and 4G coverage as well.
Satellite phone
If you want to have the best networks throughout your trek to AnnapurnaBase Camp you can use satellite phone throughout the trial. You can rent the sat phones or bring your own.
Wi-Fi
Most of the tea houses and lodges now provide Wi-Fi service. You can get free Wi-Fi in some of the lodges. But most of the lodges take extra charge for Wi-Fi. They charge you normally $5 for unlimited Wi-Fi coverage. However, the speed of the internet may not be faster like that of the cities.
Mobile data
Mobile Data can be the cheaper way to get in touch with your family and friends in the Annapurna Region. You can buy a local sim card from a private company in Nepal and activate your data. The cost od data pack varies per MB. A telecommunication company in Nepal, NCELL has launched 3G connectivity since 2010. So you can have a better internet experience in the Annapurna Region through mobile data as well.
