This tour starts with a long drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu and then to Jomsom from Pokhara in our private Jeep. En route you can see beautiful Rupse Waterfall and natural hot water spring at Tatopani. The road up to Beni is smooth and pitched. However, from Beni the off road starts. The roads have numbers of ups and down and only an experienced driver and vehicle with high clearance can safely take you to Mustang. The difficult road often takes you to beautiful destinations.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival.
Upon your arrival at TIA airport, Kathmandu our representatives from Actual Adventure Pvt. Ltd will welcome you and transfer you to the respective hotel in a private vehicle. You will meet the rest of the team members at the hotel. We will also provide you welcome dinner with cultural shows. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Drive Kathmandu - Pokhara.
On the second day of Jomsom Muktinath Overland tour you will drive to Pokhara in our private Jeep. The long drive to Pokhara starts after having breakfast at Kathmandu. The drive goes through the middle hill road of Prithivi Highway which is one of the finest long drives you can ever have. The drive to Pokhara is more than just a simple bus ride. You can explore the country side villages, famous religious sites and amazing views along the way. It takes about 6 hour from Kathmandu to reach Pokhara. You will have your lunch on the highway and dinner at the respective hotel in Pokhara.
Day 03: Drive Pokhara - Beni.
On the third day of Jomsom Muktinath overland tour we will have early morning breakfast at Pokhara and do some major sightseeing. The city of Lakes Pokhara is an incredible place to visit. Pokhara is one of the major tourism hub in Nepal. Pokhara is a junction for almost all the tourist visiting Annapurna Region. Today, we will visit Tal Barahi Temple, Davis Falls, Gupteshowr Mahadev Temple and Mahendra Cave. If time favors we will do other major sightseeing’s coming back from Muktinath. We will have lunch at Pokhara and drive to Beni. The road distance between Beni to Pokhara is 479 Km. the road condition from Pokhara to Beni is good. You will drive on a black top pitched road all the way to Beni. Beni is a small market tucked in between big hills. You can see several hotels shop guest houses and lodges in Beni. Overnight in Beni.
Day 04: Drive Beni - Jomsom.
The off road starts from Beni. We will have our breakfast at Beni and then start driving to Jomsom. The road is rough but has a lot to offer. It is an adventurous and beautiful ride all the way to Jomsom. The drive goes through several attractions on the way. On the way you will stop by Rupse Waterfall which is also a popular waterfall and natural hot water at Tatopani. We will stop for Lunch at Ghasa and then driving further we will reach to Jomsom. There are a lot of twist and turns in today’s drive. Upon reaching Jomsom you will get fresh at the hotel or guesthouse and can roam around the market. Overnight at Jomsom.
Day 05: Drive Jomsom - Muktinath - Jomsom.
We will have our breakfast at Jomsom and after that drive to Muktinath. The drive goes through desert like landscapes of Mustang region. You can see several small settlements, some irrigated landscapes, hanging bridges and big rivers along the way to Muktinath Temple. You will have to climb few stone stairs to reach Muktinath Temple. Muktinath is a holy temple of lord Vishnu. There are 108 natural water taps which has a great significance of its own. It is believed that if one takes bath in all these water taps then all his sins will be forgiven by the god. You can also see two small ponds inside the temple premises. The temple also provides a wonderful view of Mustang Valley. After visiting the Mustang valley we will trek back to Jomsom. Overnight at Jomsom.
Day 06: Drive Jomsom - Pokhara.
On the sixth day of Jomsom Muktinath Overland Tour we will have our breakfast at Jomsom and drive back to Pokhara reversing the same route. It takes about 7 to 8 hours to reach Pokhara from Jomsom depending upon the road condition. Pokhara is also very popular for its nightlife. You can roam around the streets at night. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 07: Drive Pokhara - Kathmandu.
Today we will drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. We will have our breakfast at hotel and leave for Kathmandu. We will drive back to Kathmandu following the same route via Prithivi Highway. Along the way you and have flash back of a beautiful journey you’ve just completed. Upon reaching Kathmandu you will check in to hotel, get fresh and also roam around the city if you want. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 08: Departure.

Sometimes the trek ends before the scheduled itinerary due to several reasons regarding health or any other personal issues of the trekkers. If in case, early termination of the trek happens please note that we cannot offer refunds for unused days. It is because we have to pay the committed amount to our porters, guides and other team members.
Our clients must have their insurance and the insurance must cover the expenses of accidents, health, emergency evacuation, lost of gears, etc.
The departure scheduled would be changed on any unavoidable circumstance like weather hazards, trail slides, soil erosion, avalanches, sudden sickness, etc. The program can be customized as per the interest of the clients.
Visa in Nepal can be acquired on arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu and also at the border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki border of Nepal - India and Kodari on Nepal-China border. As per official circular of the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, China, Chinese nationals applying for tourist visa to Nepal are being provided “gratis tourist visa” from Jan. 5, 2016, from following Nepali missions in the People’s Republic of China:
Nationals from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan will need to obtain visa from Nepal Embassies or Diplomatic Missions in their respective countries, as they do not get visa on arrival at the immigration entry points of Nepal.

Acclimatization is very important when you are trekking to an altitude of more than 3500m. Proper acclimatization helps to reduce the chances of Altitude Sickness. The itinerary is designed with proper acclimatization that will help your body to adopt the lower oxygen content in the air. Once you reached an altitude of 5000m the oxygen content in the air is less than 50% than that of the sea level. One of the main causes of altitude sickness is staying too long at high altitude without proper acclimatization. If in case you suffer from altitude sickness, the guides will notice the symptoms and then drop you to the lower altitude immediately. You have to inform to your guide if you notice any discomfort or symptoms of AMS. Major altitude sickness might need emergency helicopter rescue so make sure your travel insurance covers all the risk including helicopter rescue.

Most of the tea houses and lodges now provide Wi-Fi service. You can get free Wi-Fi in some of the lodges. But most of the lodges take extra charge for Wi-Fi. They charge you normally $5 for unlimited Wi-Fi coverage. However, the speed of the internet may not be faster like that of the cities.
Mobile data
Mobile Data can be the cheaper way to get in touch with your family and friends in the Annapurna Region. You can buy a local sim card from a private company in Nepal and activate your data. The cost od data pack varies per MB. A telecommunication company in Nepal, NCELL has launched 3G connectivity since 2010. So you can have a better internet experience in the Annapurna Region through mobile data as well.
