Day 1: Kathmandu
Arrival
As your aircraft lands in Tribhuwan International Airport
our representative will receive you and help you to transfer into the hotel of
your choice. Kathmandu is the capital and the largest city of the country. Stay
overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Explore
Kathmandu
Early in the morning we will board an one hour mountain
flight that introduces us to the Himalayas of Nepal including Everest. In the
afternoon we will do some sightseeing in Kathmandu, we will start with
Boudhanath Stupa which is located 8km east of Kathmandu. Boudhanath stupa is
dome shaped monument representing the mind of Buddha and pilgrimage destination
for Tantric Buddha. In the afternoon we will visit Kastamandap Temple (a temple rumored to be
constructed from the wood of single tree), Taleju temple, statue of Kal Vairab,
Basantapur palace and Kumari Temple (residence of living goddess Kumari. In the
evening we will visit Swoyambhunath stupa which is situated in the hilltop in
the west of Kathmandu. Commonly called as the monkey temple, the stupa offers
the astonishing view of Kathmandu valley.
Day 3: Drive to
Pokhara
We will wake up Early in the morning for the spectacular
view of rising sun. As the first rays of the sun strikes into the peaks a
hellish red color slowly lightens the whole Himalaya range from Kanchanjunga
and Everest in the east to Annapurna and Dhawalagiri in the west. After this we
will drive back to Kathmandu and then to Pokhara. Pokhara is situated 200km
west of Kathmandu at the altitude of 827m from the sea level. Pokhara is one of
the most scenic spots of the country whose beauty is enhanced by the lakes of
Phewa, Begnas and Rupa .
Day 4: Drive to
Sarankot and back to Pokhara
We will wake up very early in the morning and drive to
Sarankot to see sunrise over the magnificently snowcapped Himalayas. Sarankot
situated in the altitude of 1500m from the sea level gives you an option of
paragliding over the lake city. Later we will drive back to hotel and have
breakfast. After breakfast we will set off for city tour and visit places like
David’s fall, Gupteshwor cave and Tibetan refugee camp. Stay overnight at hotel
in Pokhara.
Day 5: Drive to
Bandipur; 5-6hours
Early in the morning take a scenic drive to Bandipur. Upon
arrival, check in to the hotel and explore the Bandipur Village.
Day 6: Explore
Bandipur village
After having breakfast we will hike to visit view point and
explore the local village. In the afternoon we will walk back to the hotel for
lunch and the remaining day we can relax enjoying the beautiful vista.
Day 7: Drive to
Chitwan
Early in the morning catch a ride to drive towards the
sub-tropical plains of Terai to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, transfer
to hotel where the tour guide give us a briefing about the facilities and
jungle activities. In the evening we will enjoy Tharu cultural program. Stay
overnight at lodge.
Day 8: Explore
Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park before used to be a royal hunting
reserve situated in the lowland of Terai zone in southern Nepal. It provides an
habitat to an extraordinary range of world’s rarest wild animals and native and
migratory birds. We will start the tour with bird watching, followed by jungle
safari on elephant back and canoe ride. In the evening we will enjoy the Tharu
cultural show.
Day 9: Drive to
Bhaktapur
After having breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu and
then to Bhaktapur which is the home of medieval art and architecture. The main
square contains innumerable temple and other architectural showpieces. Stay
overnight at hotel in Bhaktapur.
Day 10: Explore
Bhaktapur and drive back to Kathmandu
We will start early in the morning to explore the small streets,
durbar square, temples, shops and historical ponds around the area. In the
afternoon we will drive to Patan Durbar which is one of the oldest Buddhist
cities in the world. Archeologists say that the city was founded in 3rd century and is known for the fine traditional crafts and rich artistic heritage.
Day 11: Farewell
You will be transferred to Tribhuwan International airport
for your onward journey.
