Thai Airways is set to launch new flights from Bangkok to Colombo, Kochi and Perth

Thai Airways is proud to announce its expansion plans, introducing new flight services connecting Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok with three exciting destinations: Perth in Australia, Colombo in Sri Lanka, and Kochi in India. These strategic moves are aimed at strengthening our presence in the Asia-Pacific region and providing our passengers with more travel options.

Expansion of Australian Network

Commencing on 31 March 2024, Thai Airways will begin daily flights to Perth, marking a significant addition to our Australian destinations, which already include Melbourne and Sydney. The Bangkok-Perth route will enhance connectivity between Thailand and Australia, meeting the growing demand for travel between these vibrant locations.

Enhanced Connectivity to Colombo and Kochi

In addition to the Perth flights, Thai Airways will launch daily flights to Colombo and thrice-weekly flights to Kochi, starting from 31 March and 2 April 2024, respectively. These new routes will facilitate cultural and economic exchanges between Thailand and its South Asian neighbors, Sri Lanka and India.

Flight Details and Schedules

Bangkok-Perth Route: Experience daily flights to Perth onboard the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, offering comfort and luxury. With 22 Royal Silk Class seats in a 2-2-2 layout and 234 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration, travelers can enjoy convenience and relaxation. Departures from Bangkok are scheduled in the early morning and late night, catering to diverse travel needs.

Bangkok-Colombo Route: Enjoy daily flights to Colombo with the Airbus A320-200, featuring 12 Economy Plus and 156 Economy Class seats. This route prioritizes comfort, ensuring passengers have ample space to unwind during their journey.

Bangkok-Kochi Route: Connect with the Indian market on thrice-weekly flights to Kochi, operated by the Airbus A320-200 with 174 Economy Class seats. As the ninth Indian city in Thai Airways' network, Kochi promises to be an exciting addition to our destinations.
