It was such a lovely experience to Everest Base Camp. I did the trek with Actual Adventure and I was so pleased by the services. To my goodness I even get the western food even in the base camp. Kedar and Team provided me a very friendly environment and I felt safe and sound. I personally think this is one of the best companies and would recommend to all of you.

Wonderful Trekking experience
I did Everest Base Camp trek in 2017 with Actual Adventure Team. Nepal is truly a heaven on earth and Actual Adventure team gave us a homely environment. Everything was perfectly managed and the staffs including guides and porters were very friendly. I highly recommend this company.

My Everest Base Camp trek was full of fun, adventure and excitement. The ways were way more difficult than I thought but I finally made it to the base camp. It was all because of my travel partner and guides provided by the Actual Adventure Company. All the services from Kathmandu to the base camp were great. We don’t need to have to worry about trekking permits and other documents because the company had managed everything.

My husband and I booked a 14-day Everest Base Camp trek through Actual Adventure. Since the beginning of our planning about 6 months ago, Kedar, the owner has been amazing and more than helpful. Not only did he answer every one of my tons of questions, he checked in every few weeks leading up to the trip to let us know that everything was still set and tell us how excited he was to have us.
Once we were on the trek, Kedar made sure that everything went completely smoothly for us. Not only that, his trek allowed us to be very flexible and make changes along the way. Our trek was supposed to be 14 days, but my husband and i wanted to finish early. Kedar and his team made it happen. And they took us to the best and nicest tea houses along the way.
From planning through the very end of our trek, we could not have been happier or more satisfied with the company and our experience.

I and my wife went for the Everest Base Camp trek organized by Kedar and came back with wonderful experiences. Thank to his exceptional organizing skills. Everything was planned and thought through well in before which made our trip very smooth.
We also had a great time with our guide Shambu, who is a gem of a person. He helped us immensely in the whole trip by guiding us with the right suggestion and his local expertise.
I highly recommended Kedar, Shambu and Actual Adventure for any trip in Nepal.

I bought my KTM-LUK-KTM tickets online from Actual Adventure to do the EBC trek. The MD Mr Kedar was very helpful and gave us lots of informations regarding the trek to EBC. We wanted to be adventurous and do things on our own but when we arrived in Kathmandu, there was a strike and we couldn't do much. Mr Kedar came and helped us with our trekking needs. When it was time to leave to go to Lukla, he came to meet us at the hotel, came with us in the taxi and guided us into the airport for our KTM-LUK flight. Getting into the airport check-in area was a challenge. Checking in is a nightmare itself, there are too much people with oversized baggages and the domestic airport is so cramped. Luckily Mr Kedar had an insider who helped us check-in and helped us through to the boarding area.
He also arrange for a porter for us in Lukla, Shambhu Karki. Like Mr Kedar himself, Shambhu is very informative and took care of us during our trek. Shambhu was very patient with us and not only helped but guided us as well when we had difficulties during our trek.
I would highly recommend Actual Adventure for your holiday experiences in Nepal. Having said that, we will be back in Nepal with a group soon and we'll surely get in touch with Actual Adventure for our trekking needs.

Kedar was the man who helped me organise my flights from Kathmandu to lukla to complete the Everest base camp trek.
I emailed actual adventure before I left Australia and when I arrived in Kathmandu all my tickets and itinerary were ready to be picked up at the office in thamel.
Kedar can look after all aspects of your trip and if I had not already been mostly planned before contacting him I would have gone with kedar for these things.
The best part of the service is the genuine desire to make your trip as fun and smooth as possible.

“I travelled to Nepal in November to trek from Lukla to Namche Bazaar. Kadar met us at the airport in Kathmandu with a friendly smile and a very customer oriented attitude; he was prepared to make sure we had the best trip possible, and we did! Kadar arranged everything from our hotel reservation (at a great rate!) to dinner in a neat local restaurant when weather prevented us from flying to Lukla on the planned day. He made sure he thoroughly prepared us for the trek; he got us poles and even took pictures of us so we could get our passes for the mountain. We had a great time with Kadar; he even took us on an impromptu walking tour of Kathmandu and pointed out some great shopping opportunities.
Unfortunately, I got sick and could barely walk from Lukla to Namche Bazaar. Kadar had provided us with a guide named Deepak who was very attentive and who made sure I was well taken care of on the way. He practically dragged me to the guesthouse and made sure I had food and water, he even got me some of the best garlic soup ever to help renew my strength. The rest of the group went on and I stayed behind to sleep but Deepak checked in on me via cell phone several times and even called the guesthouse to have them bring me some food.
Our trip back to Lukla and Kathmandu was great. Kadar also arranged a tour guide and driver for us to take us to see Kathmandu the next day. We saw the main temples with a guide who was very knowledgeable and personable. We had dinner with Kadar and Deepak on our last night in Kathmandu and discussed our next trip. Next time I will make it to Namche Bazaar.
If you want to make a trek in Nepal, I highly recommend you use Actual Adventure. Kadar is dependable and organized. Deepak, our guide is knowledgeable about the mountains and a very experienced guide. Overall, you will find yourself in very capable hands. He is a very nice person as well. I look forward to our next meeting.”

My girlfriend and I did a hike to Everest Base Camp in December 2010. I can recommend this period
of time for trekking, because there aren’t too many other hikers so accommodation is cheap and
it’s not a touristic adventure. Plus in the daytime it’s always nice and sunny, so it’s only cold in the
evening. We did the hike on our own (so no porter or guide). But this wasn’t possible if we didn’t
meet Kedar Neupane. This incredibly friendly man spoke Engelish very well and did everything he
could to help us. He helped us arranging the flying tickets and took us to a rentalshop for the extraneeded materials. Kedar knows his own country and will help you to find the adventure you need!!
This was by far the most extraordinary and beautifull trip is made in Asia, and I can recommend this
company if you go to Nepal.

Kedar was unbelievably helpful in helping as organize our Trek from Kathmandu -Phaplu-Lukla-Namche-Tengboche-Gorakshep-base Camp Trek ( April 06 to 23 ,2012) ,when we first arrived kedar have us his total attention to find money changer arrange Tims Card, All Trekking Documents and Permit and fine and manage Stove Gas all necessary for us, and trekking map as well.
Balaram our porter was polite, conscientious and very professional. It is a man of tremendous dignity and grlcefulruss . We will miss him!

I can 100% recommend Actual Adventure for bookings in Nepal. I bought my Kathmandu-Lukla flight tickets from them, and the service I got was absolutely excellent. They were very attentive, answering my mails quickly (also on weekends) and in a professional manner, with enough info (and extra recommendations) to be of help. Also, when there was a bank issue with the money transfer, they did their utmost to help with the problem. Once in Nepal, ticket handover was efficiently organized and we even had time for a nice cup of tea and some chitchat. I hope to be able to use Actual Adventure’s services again during my next trip to Nepal.

I was fortunate to have meet Mr Kedar Neupane to organize a custom itinerary in a short time without long planning. I visit Gokyo even in monsoon season.

Even though the clouds were covering some part of Mt. Everest when I arrived Kara-patar,
the trek to go there was special for me.
Beautiful snowy peaks, sound of Yak bells in the wind, “Namaste!”, never changing but
tasty Dal-bhat, and maybe the coldness and headache on the higher ground should never
get out from my memory whole my life.
I used Actual Adventure as the travel agency to get air ticket for Lukla. And I really
appreciate their helpfulness!
I would like to come back some day!

We climbed EBC together with Actual Advanture. All of the guys from AA were very nice and helpful. All the trip they supported and helped us. Everything was very well organized. We had the best guide Deepak that I've ever had. He had tons of expirience and interesting stories to tell. He helped me a lot when I had a altitude sickness and if it not him I wouldn't reached the EBC! I highly recommend Actual Advanture and Deepak as a guide! After researching many companies I choose this company for trekking in Nepal. I doubted about the services and facilities since it was my first visit. To my goodness the services and facilities were beyond my expectations. From starting to the end the company provided me and my team with all the necessary services. Since it was my first trekking I opted for ABC trek. Thanks to Sujan and Kedar for providing all the necessary paper works and permits. The guides provided by the company were very friendly, cooperative and very well known about the place. We were provided with the best available accommodations and healthy food during our entire trek. On the way we noticed some of our fellow travelers from other local companies having so many issues with their services, but we were lucky and very satisfied with everything. My companions complimented me for selecting the best company after completing the trek. They all were impressed by the services. By the end of the trek, I thought of the travelers from another company we met on the way and compared it with us. What have we done if we were in their place? I took no seconds to thank myself for selecting the best company and after returning back to Kathmandu I personally thanked Kedar and promised to have another trek with his company very soon. This was the best trekking experience I ever had and I will always cherish this special moment of life.

First of all, we only booked flight tickets to Lukla over Actual Adventure Pvt :LtD. But we also get a very good support for our individual trek in Everest and Annapurna region. Finally Actual Adventure organized for us also a safari trip in Chitwan Nationalpark which was really great. We were always very satisfied with Actual Adventure and we can highly recommend this company for any kinds of activities.

The Jiri Trek
“"The best and most awe-inspiring month of my life."”
Let me start with it was probably the best and most awe-inspiring month of my life. The mountains, culture, and the people who were some of the friendliest I've ever met. I decided to book with Actual Adventure because after a while of searching they had the best tours for the best prices that i came across. After getting in touch with Kedar Neupane I know i made the right decision. He couldn't have been more helpful, kind, and patient with all my questions. While i was in Nepal i partook in two separate treks through the company. Which i would have had really hard time with if it weren't for my awesome guide and new brother Lakpa Sherpa. I honestly think if he wasn't there with me i wouldn't have been able to do it both physically, and mentally. The first trek being the 20 day Jiri to Everest Base Camp and Kala Pathar. The second being the 7 day Nayapul to Poon Hill in the Annapurna Range. For the money that i spent of the trek i really believe i got the most out of it. I had three meals every day, countless cups of tea, and a room to myself every night. Now trekking in a developing country you need to have realistic expectations of the lodges you will be staying in. If you bring a sleeping bag to throw on the bed to sleep in you will be fine, these village lodge owners give it all they have but that is limited. In the cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara they clearly have the ability to have immaculate rooms. I honestly have no complaints with Actual Adventure or the Trekking I did through them. They were all incredibly kind and helpful. I will most definitely visit Nepal again and without a doubt be using Actual Adventure again and again.

I really loved my experience to the Everest Base Camp with Actual Adventure. We were a group of 10 people travelling together and each of the members were equally loved and respected in spite of having some physical differences. The guides were great and all the company staffs were extremely talented. We had no problems regarding accommodation and food. Everything was perfect and we ended up having a perfect trek!
