Thanks a lot for the proper arrangement of our trip to Poon Hill by Actual Adventure. It was a memorable and joyful experience for everything…... sceneries, culture and support of the crew. The trekking trip was physically demanding but the sceneries rewarded. The crew hired by Actual Adventure this time was very supportive and professional, especially the senior mountain guide, Bashudev Sapkota. Bashudev made the trekking part of our trip more secured and organized. Nepal, see you again in the near future!

I'm a repeat customer of Actual Adventure. My first trek with them was in Nov 2015 (Annapurna Base Camp), and I just completed a trek in Upper Mustang. I can't wait to come back again, hopefully next year. Actual Adventure offers many trek options, however this is not what sets them apart from other numerous trekking organizers in Kathmandu. Actual Adventure consultants work hard to understand your individual interests and needs to make the trek exceed one's expectations; they are always just one phone call away for questions, changes, inquires and any requests. The pricing that Actual Adventure offers is very competitive, however one feels like they have purchased a luxury tour only due to the attention of the staff and care for the traveler. The guides they use are extremely knowledgeable - I personally observed other trekkers' guides consulting my guide on numerous occasions; so it's not just my biased observation. I'm looking forward to my next trip with them, and can recommend them without any hesitation.

Over all experience: fantastic. One of the best treks experiences I have ever had so far and let me say this. Nature can never go wrong because it is perfect the way it is, and Actual adventure helped us enjoy this !
Actual adventure supported from arrival in Kathmandu to departure from Kathmandu.
Will divide the trek in three phases pre trek, trek phase and post trek.
Pre trek: we had more than enough information about the prep for the trek to get us mentally and physically ready for the trek. And these prep started atleast 4 to 5 months in advance of the trek. And trust me this is needed. The question is will I be able to do the trek if I don't prepare. Well I can but I won't be able to enjoy it as it is a physically demanding trek. We had information on buying the right gear, clothing, prepping for high altitude stay, any emergencies and dealing with it. We were received with a lot of warmth and the KTM airport by actual adventure team.
During the trek, we had a great team of main guide, assistant guides and porters assigned. Each of them extremely well aware of the terrain, well trained and very very patient set of guys. They paid attention in details to requirement of each and every person in group of 10.
The lodges we stayed in and the food we had were all good. Due to high altitude many of us lost our appetite but the guides were extremely supportive.
The main guide would brief us every evening on what to expect next day give us instructions on the preparation.
The guides would always walk in such a way to ensure that between 3 to 4 people there is one of them, Which was very important.
Post trek phase was comfortable with actual adventure supporting with arrangement of sightseeing Ktm. And ensuring that our stay in Ktm was comfortable.
Over all if anybody wants to to EBC PLEASE DO WITH A TRUSTED PARTNER. it is the key to enjoy the experience.

Actual Adventure” Kathmandu organized EBC trek for us in a very professional manner.Right from receiving us at Kathmandu airport( Mr. Sujan had come to recieve us at airport) where we were given traditional welcome with Marigold garlands to dropping us at Ramechhep airport where our flight to Lukla was arranged in a jiffy.
The main Guide “Mr.Deepak” and the assistant guides “Subhash” and “Bisht” were god sent. They took care of us like family members and ensured that we complete the trek successfully and we did ! They informed us about all the important way points and the peaks that we saw along the way.
Our sherpas, “The super humans” could not stop us from feeling surprised each day, with their vigor and enthusiasm, not to talk about their strength !
The accommodation at all stations right from Phakding to Gorakshep was done on twin sharing room basis and was very comfortable. All three meals including a drink( Soft drink) was included through-out the 11 day trek.
Our main guide even modified the itinerary to suit our group’s needs. The actual adventure organizer “Mr. Kedar” was a part of the whatsapp group and kept encouraging us at each station. It energised us and we kept yearning for more and more.
The hotel at Kathmandu was a decent one and was right in the heart of “Thamel” market. The rooms were good and neat .
On our return, we were presented with certificates by “Actuals Adventures” of having completed the EBC trek.
The only improvement which the organizer can do is that they can make it very clear at the time of booking itself that the flight to Lukla would be from Ramechhap airport and not Kathmandu airport. Because we were given an impression that the cost was inclusive of airfare from KTM to LUKLA.
All in all, we were very happy with Actuals Adventures hospitality and its organizing capabilities.

Three of us took a trek to Poon Hill and Ghorepani in July 2019. Two of us had been to Annapurna Base Camp before with the same company and the same guide. The were so great that we specifically requested them again and were delighted to get them. Lakpa Sherpa is a fantastic guide, friendly, funny and professional. He was particularly good in helping my colleague who needed more assistance. We encountered a few natural mishaps after a storm (landslides, overflown rivers) and Lakpa and the porters Uttam and Prasang were nothing short of amazing. The were able to reroute us, helped my colleagues across the river and found alternative transports when the bus couldn't pass the landslide.
Also, the organiser, Kedar Neupane, was similarly professional and lovely. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing. We would go again in a heartbeat.

This trek was an amazing adventure. There were spectacular views of lush green hills and jungles, waterfalls, as well as snow
capped mountains. This area of Nepal is remarkably beautiful and alive with wildlife. We saw monkeys in the jungle. Our guide,
Mr. Lakpa Sherpa and porters Pasang and Uttam were fantastic. Lakpa was able to anticipate my every need. He was very caring
and very careful. He even held my hand on difficult downhill descents. He was also very knowledgeable and was able to point out interesting sites and name the different mountain peaks. The food and accommodations during the trek were much better than I had anticipated. Every aspect of the trek was handled very professionally. I highly recommend Actual Adventures and especially would like to thank Lakpa, for all his effort to make this such a wonderful experience.

I experienced a wonderful trekking trip in 2019.
We starts from Kathmandu>Pohkrara>Tikhedunga > Ghorepani>Poonhill ( for the amazing sunrise time)>Tadapani>Ghandruk>Pokhara>Kathmandu .
We need to pass through slippery Ice surface in some of the trails cuz it was snowy time in December. Guides have very good sense to take care of you and help you walk slowing and carefully on those slippery surface.
We are in group of 8 and there are 1 guide take care of about 2 people . They treat us everything in detailed. They concern all our need and that’s why we are all happy to complete the challenging trekking trip!
I especially thanks Sujan who take care of me through out the trip!
If I have time , I will join the challenging ABC trekking trip next time !

Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days Short Trek that included Kalapatthar⛺️. I really had wonderful experience. The guide Lakpa Sherpa and porters Anuraj both were amazing. The company, Actual Adventure was super flexible with our changing schedule. I enjoyed the experience so much that I plan to go back next year to do Annapurna with Actual Adventure Team. The moment we arrived at our goal destination, we felt overwhelmed on this accomplishment. This would not have been possible without the help of our terrific guide provided to us by the agency. I highly recommend their company.
