My trek to the Everest Base Camp was a great experience. I did the trek with actual adventure company which was suggested by a friend who went there before. The company provided a very warm and homely environment. I really love the guide Hari and his service. The management was perfect and I will surely join them for my next adventure.

I just returned from Nepal after doing Tamang Heritage trial. This trek was offered by Actual Adventure and I’m glad that I did it and somehow helped in the improvement of local’s life which was beyond my imagination. The region was near to Kathmandu valley yet not touched by the modernization in any aspect. The people, their tradition and culture had remained intact over centuries. The views were mind blowing and people were very friendly and hospitable. My guide Lakpa helped me interact with the locals and became my translator. Overall it was a trek of lifetime.

Amazing life changing experience.
Many things to see and do and experience like no other. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Kathmandu must see areas of Thamel which is old area and New rd which is commercial business hub.
Chitwan is jungle safari on elephant and on foot and sunset over the national park.
Lumbini for Buddhas birthplace and temples from many countries who have set up monasteries in same area.
Pokhara for trekking and mountain sports like paragliding. Fantastic view of huge mountains overlooking lake Phewa.
Had an incredible an unforgettable time.
Thanks for the memories and your help in making it a wonderful trip.

We just arraived back home in Germany from a perfect stay at Alpine Hotel Kathmandu & Magnolia Hotel Pokhara. Both hotels are owned and operated by Kedar Neupane & his family, who also is the manager of Actual Adventures. He and his brother Sushal organized our stay, the trip from Kathmandu to Pokhara and all the activities (tours to Bhatapur/Patan/Rafting Trisuli River) perfectly, we felt like home away from home. This was our second trip to Nepal and we highly can recommend to stay at Alpine Hotel in Kathmandu and then proceed to Magnolia Hotel in Pokhara. Both hotels have a perfect location, have all the amenities and services you want to have, are clean and well maintained. Kedar helped us to solve a serious medical problem perfectly, took care for all our questions and requests, always went the extra mile. Pickup at the airport was on the the minute, we felt totally safe and welcome all the time. After an exhausting trip to the Mount Everest base Camp exactly what we were looking for.

I really had one of the most adventurous holidays of my life with Actual Adventure. All the services were great and I enjoyed the thrill and adventures throughout my Nepal stay and Sujan was with me throughout all the adventures. I did Upper Mustang trek of 16 days with Actual Adventure and everything was above my expectations. The place was outstanding and the facilities were great. The company provided me with comfortable and homely environment during my stay in Nepal. All the staffs were very friendly and there was no problem communicating with them because everyone was fluent English speakers. Kedar (CEO of the company) managed all the required permits, tickets and other necessary documents. Sujan (brother of Kedar and director of the company) was already there to pick up on my arrival. The accommodation and food was great and guide Pasang was very friendly. I and my friend planned for doing Upper Dolpo Trek. I was not known to Nepal and it was my first trek but my friend had already completed his EBC trek and it was his 2nd visit to Nepal. My friend did his first trek with Actual Adventure and was very impressed by this company so we choose this company for Upper Dolpo as well. I was not sure about my friend’s choice but I found this company much more that my friend has said. We have had an amazing organized trek to Dolpo. Our guide Lakpa was more like a family member and was very flexible with us. We received a grand welcome at the airport and the food and accommodation were very comfortable. Even during the trek we had no such problems. I had a wonderful time in Nepal and want to Thank to Actual Adventure. This company is the right choice to travel in Nepal.

I did Kanchenjunga Base Camp trek with Actual Adventure and they actually made my trip. The 26 days long journey to Kanchenjunga Base Camp was a trek of a lifetime. I already did EBC trek with them and this trek was different than EBC because of less commercialized and difficult trials. I was already satisfied with the services during my first trek but this time it was even greater. Kedar himself was there to receive me at the airport and has managed all the necessary documentation including domestic flights, transport, hotels and guides. My guide Pasang was very kind and helpful person. He also showed his best hospitality all the way during my trek. I highly recommend this company.
Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek was a memorable experience and I heartily thanks to my guide Phurpa and entire team of Actual Adventure. The management was perfect and the staffs were very friendly. Phurba helped me all the way to base camp and shared some of his years of knowledge and experience throughout the way. His warm hospitality and caring behavior is what I admired for. I'm a repeat customer of Actual Adventure. My first trek with them was in Nov 2015 (Annapurna Base Camp), and I just completed a trek in Upper Mustang. I can't wait to come back again, hopefully next year. Actual Adventure offers many trek options, however this is not what sets them apart from other numerous trekking organizers in Kathmandu. Actual Adventure consultants work hard to understand your individual interests and needs to make the trek exceed one's expectations; they are always just one phone call away for questions, changes, inquires and any requests. The pricing that Actual Adventure offers is very competitive, however one feels like they have purchased a luxury tour only due to the attention of the staff and care for the traveler. The guides they use are extremely knowledgeable - I personally observed other trekkers' guides consulting my guide on numerous occasions; so it's not just my biased observation. I'm looking forward to my next trip with them, and can recommend them without any hesitation.

I called Kedar Neupane, director of Actual Adventure, on Dec 22, 2017 telling him I was arriving on Dec 29 and needed permits and arrangements, including flights, for Upper Mustang. To go to Upper Mustang, the government of Nepal requires special permits. Kedar performed a miracle by getting us the permits hours after we arrived on Dec 29. After obtaining our permits, that afternoon, my daughter and I traveled by car and arrived in Pokhara that evening. Lakpa Sherpa, a licensed guide, was assigned to take my 16-year-old daughter and myself to Upper Mustang. The three of us flew to Jomson the next morning, Dec 30. We started walking the moment we arrived, so, from the time we arrived in Nepal at noon on Dec 29, within 20 hours, we were already trekking to Mustang with all proper permits. The guide was excellent in every way, experienced, attentive, professional, having a good sense of humor and being patient. We walked six days to Lo Manthang, via Chussang, Chele, Samar, Syangboche, and Tsarang. From Lo Manthang, we went to the Bon Sacred rock wall. On the way back, Lakpa took us back through different routes - Ghar Gompa (1300 year-old monastery) and via a remarkable canyon to Chussang. The walking was strenuous, and the landscapes were remarkable. The 800 year-old monastery of Tsarang is also worth a visit (180 450-year-old books). My thanks to Actual Adventure, Kedar Neupane and Lakpa Sherpa. There were able to take my very tight time schedule and last-minute request and help me fulfill my dream of taking my daughter to Upper Mustang.

I did Upper Mustang trek with my husband and it was an interesting trek of lifetime. The beauty of Mustang region and walled city Lo Manthang was very astounding and the guide Phurba was very friendly and helpful. We could say him anything and he would have managed in no seconds being probably the best guide one could ever have wished for. Everything was perfectly managed from our landing to departure. The accommodations were very comfortable with available hot water shower. It was very difficult to walk during some trials because of the wind blowing the dust. I suggest everyone to have sunglasses with you otherwise the dust particles may enter into your eyes. These were just the natural barriers but otherwise the company’s service was great and wonderful. I highly suggest this company to everyone.

Kedar and his versatile team members did a great job making our trip to Upper Mustang a memory we will be treasuring for the lifetime. Everything was very well managed and we were provided with best possible facilities like rooms with attached bathrooms and hot shower facilities, healthy and delicious meals, complementary tea and coffees and much more. The guide was very talented and friendly. If ever I’ll be travelling to Nepal I’ll surely choose this company again.
