Nepal is a developing country, Outside of major cities area electricity on trekking can be scares. You should have to pay 100-800 NRs per hour to charge goods on many lodges and also many tea-house treks, including in Annapurna base camp trek, Everest Base camp trek and many others treks also. Chargers often won't work on low power solar systems you find right up in the mountains so u can buy alternative bayonet light to electricity power plug converter, which will only works in low voltage is highlow. The standard Nepalese electrical outlet is a three-pronged triangle so bring three-pronged triangle chargers.
Nepal is a landlocked country which lies in Hindu Kush Himalayan region. Nepal has monsoonal climate having four main seasons: spring, summer, monsoon, autumn and winter.
Below is a general guide to conditions at different seasons:
January to March (winter): In this season temperature will decrease at often 0°C (32°F) at night, with extreme cold at high elevations. It is possible to trek in places like the Everest region during the winter but due to extreme cold weather and heavy snow fall it may be quite difficult than as usual.
April to June (summer): In these months it is quite warm and dry weather. There is an abundance of blooming flowers in the Himalayas at this time, with rhododendrons, in particular, adding a splash of color to the landscape. This season is the best time to undertake mountain expeditions.
June to September (Monsoon): There will be heavy monsoonal rainfall in this season. Rains are generally lighter in high Himalayan reasons. In this season the mountain ranges are not often visible due to the clouds.
October to December (autumn): These months are cool and clear which is due to the end of monsoon, there is little dust in the air so this is the best season to visit the hilly and mountainous regions.

This trek was an amazing adventure. There were spectacular views of lush green hills and jungles, waterfalls, as well as snow
capped mountains. This area of Nepal is remarkably beautiful and alive with wildlife. We saw monkeys in the jungle. Our guide,
Mr. Lakpa Sherpa and porters Pasang and Uttam were fantastic. Lakpa was able to anticipate my every need. He was very caring
and very careful. He even held my hand on difficult downhill descents. He was also very knowledgeable and was able to point out interesting sites and name the different mountain peaks. The food and accommodations during the trek were much better than I had anticipated. Every aspect of the trek was handled very professionally. I highly recommend Actual Adventures and especially would like to thank Lakpa, for all his effort to make this such a wonderful experience.
My first visit and trekking trip at Nepal, and I am hooked to this country and its beautiful nature.
Thanks to the smooth arrangement by Acutal Adventure Trekking and Expedition (special thanks to Kedar and Sujan, the brothers who founded and managed the trekking company), our group of 30 from Hong Kong had a wonderful, entertained and safe first-time experience over the 4-day Ghorenpani Poon Hil Trek.
Here are some feedbacks:
Itinerary – pacing of the trek was good, with lots of break and recovery time in between. The most demanding day was Day 2, from Tikhedhunga to Ghorenpani (almost 1000m ascend, 8 hours of uphill stairs climb). Other than that, it was a moderate 5-6 hours trek each day.
Accommodation – we stayed at teahouses along the trek, which were basic yet clean. I particularly enjoyed my stay at the teahouse at Ghorenpani, with comfortable dining hall overlooking the snow-capped mountains range. That was Christmas night, and we had a mini-party/celebration with other trekkers and our guides/porters. It was a fun night.
The only downside of trekking during winter season was that the bedrooms were not heated, and the nights were kind of brutal. We had to jump into our sleeping bags right after dinner to stay warm in our rooms. And not being able to shower in 4 days was a challenge too!
Food – not much expectation or complaint about eating at the mountains. We were served with hot soups/drinks, fried rice/noodles for most of the meals. The more exciting one was again on Christmas night, which we got to try the local food plate called “dal baht” (with steamed rice, curry chicken, veggie and bean soup).
Guides/Porters – they were excellent! We were supported by a big team of guides and porters – every 4 trekkers to 1 guide, every 2 trekkers to 1 porter. The guides, especially the two leaders Kedar and Sujan, were responsible, professional and entertaining. They all paid well attention on each trekker, and provided special support to those who needed extra care. We felt safe and well taken care of over the 4-day trek.
Route/View – my heart was sold to Nepal and the gigantic mountains (7 out of 8 world’s highest mountains are situated in Nepal). The amazing mother nature had taught us to stay humble and caring to our environment, and that we shall not take the power of nature lightly.
Dear sujan,

We traveled to Pokhara from Kathmandu in Kedars car. He came with us and was our travel guide. He managed everything very professional. So we had an interesting and funny time in Pokhara.
The middle path hotel he booked for us was very good too.
We will never forget sunrise and sunset at Annapurna Range.
We recommend Actual Adventure for everyone who wants to visit Nepal.
The stuff is very kind and the drivers manage the chaotic traffic very well.
