The United Kingdom has close historical ties with Nepal, from the Gurkhas to the British climbers who helped open the Himalayas to the world, and it remains one of Nepal’s most important markets for trekking and mountaineering. To serve travellers there directly, Actual Adventure has an official representative in London.
Stephen Kelly, Manila Club London
Stephen Kelly represents Actual Adventure in the United Kingdom through Manila Club London. Based in London, he is the local point of contact for British and European travellers who want to explore Nepal with a trusted, experienced team.
What he does for Actual Adventure
- gives UK-based travellers advice, information and support in their own time zone, before and after they book
- introduces Nepal’s trekking, peak climbing, expeditions, cultural tours and wildlife safaris to British and European travellers
- builds relationships with UK tour operators, travel agents, trekking clubs, schools and charity challenge groups
- represents Actual Adventure at UK travel events and trade meetings, building on Kedar Neupane’s years of attending World Travel Market London
- helps groups and individuals plan custom itineraries, so arranging a Nepal adventure from the UK is simple and reliable
A bridge between Britain and Nepal
Having a representative in London gives British travellers an extra layer of confidence. They can talk to someone locally and get answers quickly, while Actual Adventure’s team in Kathmandu handles the details on the ground. Together they offer local service in the UK and expert operation in Nepal.
