Representative of Actual Adventure will be at the arrival gate of International airport, Kathmandu to receive you. He will welcome you and take you to your hotel. Then at evening you can enjoy traditional welcome dinner organized by our company. You will spend your night at hotel.
We take the incredible flight to Bhutan’s only International airport at Paro. The flight goes over the great Himalayas which provides the most gorgeous views of the world’s highest peaks. When we go through Paro valley we can see the Paro Dzong on the hillside overlooking the Paro Chu (River) with Ta Dzong, in the past a watch tower and now a National Museum above it.
Then we will drive to Thimpu, the first stop will permit us the wonderful Tachocho Lhkhang, the traditional place of reverence for Bhutan’s Iron Bridge Builder and more drive takes us to Chuzom symbols by the convergence of Paro Chu (River) and the Wang Chu. Today we will also explore Centenary Farmer’s market. At Evening we will wander through the market and mingle with the local people and visit shops and spend night at peaceful resort Thimpu.
Today we start our tour by visiting National Memorial Chorten, a stupa devoted to world peace and affluence in 1974 in the remembrance of the 3rd king of Bhutan, the national library which hold the Kingdom’s rich culture, and the National institute of Zorig Chusum where students are trained in Bhutan’s 13th traditional arts and techniques, Folk tradition Museum which will approach into the traditional Bhutanese farmhouse and remote past thought display.
We will observe Changangkha Lhakhang, a fortress like temple after a lunch. We will also go to the conservation to see the rare national animal of Bhutan. Then we will drive to the BBS tower which make available on Bird’s eye view of the Capital. Today as well we will stay at a resort in Thimpu.
Today we will move to the eastward to Punakha through some of the prosperous agricultural land and most spectacular river valley. We will walk up to the Hongtsho Goemba to see the spectacular 15th century wall paintings then we will move toward the Dochu La pass (3050m). The next attraction will be Druk Wangyal Chorten with 121 Stuppa built by the eldest Queen mother. We will also visit Chimi Lakhang at Mitsina village which is the lucky prosperous monastery devoted to heavenly Madman. After Lunch we will go to Punakha Dzong which is grandly situated at the connection of two rivers Pho Chu and Mo Chu. This is the most beautiful Dzong of Bhutan. Back to Thimpu at evening and stay at the resort.
Today we will back to Paro valley to enjoy a wonderful walk to see the Taktshang Gompa or Tiger’s Nest viewpoint. It takes around 3-4 hour at an average walking speed to reach Taktshang Gompa from road point. The outstanding monastery sticks to the ridge of a sheer rock cliff that force 900 meters into the valley below. We will also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, a holy gravestone fixing down the left foot of deceitful ogress which was built in 659 A.D by the Tibetan King Srongsen Gampo. Stay at Paro Resort at night.
Today we will fly back Kathmandu in Druk Air which will take us Kathmandu in 1 hours. You will have no tours today. So if you get some free time after arriving in Nepal you can utilize it visiting nearest streets and markets in Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at Kathmandu.
The seventh and eighth day of the tour you will be exploring the capital city of Nepal Kathmandu. You will visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu. On the first day you will start sightseeing tour from Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantpur) where you can see Kumari temple, Museum, Kaal vairab (the god of destruction), Taleju Vawani (the goddess temple once opened in the 9th day of great festival Dashain). After that you will visit the Soyambhunath Stupa which also popular as the monkey temple and the Narayanhiti Royal Palace which is now called as Narayanhiti National Museum. On the second day you will visit the Pashupatinath Temple (the biggest holy temple of Hindus), Patan Durbar Square and Boudhanath Stupa. You will be provided an English speaking tour guide who will give you all the details about the history and importance of the sites. You can also explore the nightlife of the Thamel City at the evening. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Early morning after having breakfast we will drive to Bhaktapur. The drive is about 40 minutes from the main city of Kathmandu depending upon the road condition. Bhaktapur is the second largest district of Nepal. You can get a glimpse of the ancient lifestyle of the people living in Kathmandu in Bhaktapur. You will visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is the royal palace of old Bhaktapur Kingdom. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square reflects the ancient Newari art, lifestyles and architecture. You will visit the 55 window palace, Vatsala Temple, Nyatapole Temple, Lions Gate, mini Pasupati and many more. You can see the finest art and wood carvings visiting Bhaktapur Durbar Square. You can also get chance to taste the delicious and famous newari cuisines and special curd ‘Jiju Dhau’ in Bhaktapur. After that you will drive to Dhulikhel which is about half an hour drive from Bhaktapur. Dhulikel is one of the best view point in Nepal and one of the major tourist destinations. Overnight at Dhulikhel.
Early morning you can get wonderful sunrise views over the mountains. After having breakfast you will drive to Namobuddha. It is one of the most scared Buddhist sites of Nepal. After visiting Namobuddha you will drive to Nagarkot, another famous tourist destination. The drive is about one and half hour from Namobuddha to Nagarkot. Overnight at Nagarkot.
Nagarkot is a popular destination for sunrise and sunset view. You can get to see the best sunrise view over the mountains from Nagarkot. A part from that Nagarkot gives you the best picture of mountains. You can get to see wide range of mountains from Nagarkot without trekking. You will have your breakfast and lunch at Nagarkot. After that you will drive back to Kathmandu. The drive is about 2 hours back to Kathmandu. The rest of the time is yours; you can explore the streets of Kathmandu city and Thamel at your own if you want. Overnight at Kathmandu.
We will have our breakfast at Kathmandu and drive to Bandipur. En route we will visit Manakamana Temple. Manakamana Temple is situated at an altitude of 1320m above the sea level on a distinguished ridge. You can drive to Manakamana Temple via Gorkha or reach there via cable car from cable car station at Kurintar. After visiting the temple we will drive to Bandipur which takes about 3-4 hours. Bandipur is a typical Newari village where you can see Newari style buildings and houses. Overnight at Bandipur.
Today we will explore the beautiful Bandipur village. We will visit Bindebashini Temple, silkworm farm, and Tudikhel from where we can see beautiful panoramic views of the mountains including Dhaulagiri (8167m), Machhapuchre (6997m), Langtang Lirung (7246m), Manaslu (8162m) and many more. We can taste the delicious newari cusines at Bandipur. Overnight at Bandipur.
We will have our breakfast and drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is also known as the city of lakes being a home to several lakes life, Phewa Taal, Rupa Lake, Begnas Lake and others. A part from this Pokhara is blessed by the extreme beauty of nature making it the most popular touristic hub of Nepal. Pokhara is a junction for almost all of the trekkers and travelers travelling to Annapurna Region. It takes about 2 and half hour from Bandipur to reach Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara you can stroll around the city of lakes and taste the street foods after getting fresh. Overnight at Pokhara.
The eighth and ninth day of this trip you will be staying at Pokhara. 2 days is a very short time to explore this majestic city. Being a touristic hub this city has so many wonderful things to offer. On the first day you will visit the famous sightseeing places like Davis Falls, Mahindra Cave, Gupteshowr Mahadev Temple and Meausem. On the second day we will drive to sarangkot which is one of the best view points in Pokhara. From here you will drive to World Peace Pagoda. It is a pagoda style monument situated at a top of the hill. The pagoda gives wonderful panoramic view of the Annapurna mountain ranges, Pokhara City and Lakes. From here you will drive back to Pokhara. You can explore the nightlife of Pokhara at the evening. Overnight at Pokhara.
Early morning we will have our breakfast and drive to Chitwan. It takes about 6 hours from Pokhara to reach Chitwan. Chitwan is also one of the major touristic hubs of Nepal. If you don’t want to drive to Chitwan then you can fly to Bharatpur Airport from Pokhara. Upon reaching Chitwan you will be welcomed by Tharu Cultural dance show at the evening. Overnight at Chitwan.
Two days you will have sightseeing tour in Chitwan. You will have a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village, Here you will get chance to learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. After that you will visit the National Park Visitor's centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife & Sun set view from the bank of Rapti River. On the next day you will have jeep safari tour in Chitwan National Park where you can get to see numbers of birds and wild animals including one horned rhino. You will also get chance to enjoy canoe ride in the Rapti River. Overnight at Chitwan.
