Bhaktapur Cycling Route-Cycling Challenge

33 bridges surround Bhaktapur city. These bridges cover a journey of approximately 33 kilometers, ideal for circumnavigation. Most of the route runs alongside open streams. One can embark on this bridge circuit with a compass

pointing to the direction of travel.

Along the route, one can witness numerous fields. Traveling alongside the streams fills the journey with the melodious sounds of flowing water, creating a thrilling experience. In the areas near the fields, visitors can also buy vegetables according to the season from local farmers.

Cycling trip on Saun 5

Starting from the first Saturday of Saun, one can embark on a cycling journey for the Bhaktapur 33 Bridges Circumambulation. Starting from any point along this route can enhance the journey ahead. There may also be hustle and bustle near the stream to reduce the vehicle's speed. The garage for lifting the torrent in the municipality is also here. This garage is being upgraded and the locals are demanding a parking space.

It takes less time to reach various places in the city from here. A car will come from Bhaktapur to Kathmandu and Lalitpur. The cycle trip starts from this turn.

From Pachakhya to Thimi Bridge

After starting the cycle trip from Pachakhya, the city and Suryabinayak come to the river Missin. These holes are made of paper and have a string of Hanuman Ghat and also have a jug of teapot and the pole.

Similarly, you can also travel to different places like Khalte, Jyathibhara, and Sathy for a certain location from Thimi.
